My name is Andy Stephens, owner of CRV Logistics, and author of the Courier Expert Guide, the UK’s original and most trusted Courier Guide. I’ve been around this business for more than 20 years, and have developed both an incredible Courier Guide and Membership program designed to make YOU a successful, self employed Courier or owner driver courier.
But more than that, I want to point out right in the beginning that we do things honestly and ethically here. No false promises, no hiding behind an e-mail alias, etc. We list our office address right here on the website, we man our phones, and we’re every bit as “real” as we say we are. And you know what? I’m a real courier, who owns a successful courier company, too.I practice what I preach.
I started out as a self-employed courier many years ago. Truthfully, I built my company from the ground up, and started out by making one run at a time. I made both incredible strides and huge mistakes along the way, and I learned what to do, and what not to do. I also realised there is a HUGE need for couriers everywhere – this business is almost limitless (which is why I do not mind teaching others what I do – there’s plenty of room for everyone, and the more of us there are, the more viable the business becomes.)
I feel very strongly that if a Self Employed Courier has the right level of support and guidance from day one, the initial start up phase would be far easier, quicker, and more profitable. You can usually spot them by the fact that they have no phone number, company address, or e-mail address on their website. Instead, they hide behind a form.
